One Lens Setup
“If I lost my hair people would look at me and just see cancer and feel bad for me. I don’t want ANYONE to feel bad for me.”
I’m selling prints!!! I’ve been talking about this for a long time and I’m finally setting the pieces in motion.
I have five different prints available right now, each pulled from some of my absolute favorite shoots of the last year or two. 15% of the sales will be going towards a few choice charities, and the models will be getting a cut of the profits as well.
I’m already building the infrastructure to begin offering a number of different options, as well as a way to commission specific and exclusive prints. Stay tuned, 2019 is gonna be a wild one.
On November 30th, Anastasia had a lumpectomy, removing the cancerous tumor from her breast, along with a reduction to both breasts in size. Thankfully, the tumor was smaller than expected and biopsy results confirmed that it did not spread elsewhere. The most amazing moment of this shoot was when Ana told me that she was happier with her body and her boobs than she ever has in her entire life.
On October 24th, Anastasia Colette, 26, was diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 2 Breast Cancer. On Nov 30th she will have a lumpectomy, followed by chemotherapy treatments at the start of the new year. In late spring, after chemo, Ana will have a double mastectomy due to being BRCA1 Positive. Ana and her family have been kind enough to welcome me into their lives along this journey of hers, and I will have the privilege to document her light and strength in the coming months and years.
That being said, this will cost the family an extraordinary amount of money and they have a GoFundMe set up if you would like to donate to her treatment and recovery.
